Brides it's that time of the year. The big day is fast approaching, and the 'experts' have made it known to the discerning bride to be which colours are in vogue this year.

PURPLE

Suffice it to say that if you like purple, namely ultra violet, lavender, lilac or mauve and you are aiming to use it in your wedding colour scheme, you can rest assured that you will be using '2018' colours.

BLUE

Blue in all its shades is still a colour to include if you're wedding planning this year, that is you can use it in the knowledge that you are leading the way when it comes to this years colour trends.

You could always dare to mix it with red to make a really bold statement.

RED

Sticking with the ever popular colour red - why not combine it with that other wedding favourite peach to add that extra vibrancy to your brides bouquet and your reception venue, knowing you are incorporating the wedding colours of 2018.

Whichever colours you choose, make sure you're happy with them. If there is still time for you to experiment, then my advice is to do so.

WEDDING FLOWER IDEAS - WEDDING WREATHS / WEDDING HOOPS

While we are on the subject of 2018 wedding trends, why not consider wedding wreaths.

They are so versatile. You can use them:

  • As floral crowns for yourself and your bridesmaids

  • Handheld they can replace the standard brides bouquet

  • Place them on tables to encompass vase centrepieces

  • Use them as decor for the church doors

  • Decorate the pew ends with them

Don't underestimate the versatility of the floral wreath (Check out this Pinterest page), they lend themselves well to anything from the traditional wedding to the popular Boho styles.

We wish you every success for your special day.
