YOUR BUDGET

As with everything else, your budget will no doubt govern your choice of wedding flowers. Though we do appreciate that just because you have a big budget it does not mean that you intend to blow it all on your bouquets and centrepieces.

After all not every bride wishes to see a carpet of flowers on their wedding venue tables.

WHEN IS LESS BEST?

beautiful that just one or two paired with an abundance of greenery in various shades, textures and sizes can make a wonderful statement.

FLOWER SEASONS

If you do want to use a lot of fresh flowers for your special day, then it would always be useful to think about which of them will be readily available and in season during the month of your wedding. Doing so will help you and your florist to decide on the best choice of blooms for your bouquets.

If you haven't already decided on your wedding colours then take time out to read our 'How To Stay On Trend With Your Wedding Colours In 2018'

HERE'S A VALUABLE TIP TO FOLLOW WHEN CHOOSING YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS

If you do not have a bottomless budget for your wedding flowers, then follow this one tip - choose flowers that are in season! The mere fact that they are in season means your flowers will be in peak condition and there will be an abundant supply of them. What does this matter? Simply that the price of your flowers will be much more reasonably priced, therefore you will ultimately get 'more for your money!'

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE ANY FLOWERS AT ALL IN YOUR BRIDAL BOUQUETS

A wedding bouquet consisting of foliage only is perfectly acceptable and can be just as strikingly beautiful, though probably not quite as colourful as the 'usual' bouquet.

Ruscus, pittosporum, leatherleaf fern, myrtle, dusty miller (cineraria), salal (lemon leaf) and eucalyptus are but a few of the variety of greenery you could consider for your flower free brides bouquet.
